By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.
These Terms mainly apply to the use of the website. Specific consultations, programmes, digital products, patient portal access, consent forms, intake forms, professional services, or health-related services may be subject to additional or separate terms, which may be provided to you separately.

2. Purpose of the website
This website provides information about functional medicine, internal medicine, nutrition, health, wellness, educational content, programmes, digital products, and professional services presented through Tsintavis Functional Medicine.
Professional healthcare services are provided independently by the practitioner with whom the relevant consultation or service is booked. Digital products, programmes, guides, and other commercial materials sold by Panagiotis Tsintavis are provided through his own business activity unless expressly stated otherwise.
The content on this website is provided for informational, educational, and, where relevant, commercial purposes. It is not intended to replace personalised medical diagnosis, medical advice, medical treatment, or ongoing care from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Using this website, reading its content, downloading resources, subscribing to a newsletter, or viewing educational materials does not by itself establish a doctor–patient relationship or another individual professional-care relationship with either practitioner.
3. Independent professional practices
Panagiotis Tsintavis and Dr. Varvara Zisimidou operate separate and independent professional practices.
A consultation, assessment, or other professional healthcare service is provided by the practitioner with whom that service is booked. That practitioner is independently responsible for the professional services they provide and issues the corresponding lawful invoice or receipt through their own professional activity.
Where appropriate, the practitioners may collaborate in relation to a patient’s care. Such collaboration does not alter the independent legal and professional status of either practice.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, digital products, educational programmes, guides, downloads, and other commercial materials offered through this website are sold by Panagiotis Tsintavis through his own business activity and do not constitute medical services provided by Dr. Varvara Zisimidou.
4. Medical disclaimer
The content on this website is not an emergency medical service and must not be used for medical emergencies.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency or serious symptoms, including but not limited to chest pain, difficulty breathing, fainting, severe allergic reaction, acute neurological symptoms, suicidal thoughts, severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, or any rapidly worsening condition, seek urgent medical help immediately through your local emergency services.
Information on this website is general in nature and may not be suitable for your individual health situation.
You should not start, stop, or change any medication, supplement, diet, treatment, or medical plan based only on information found on this website.
Any personalised professional recommendation requires an appropriate individual assessment, including relevant history, context, and, where appropriate, laboratory or medical information.
5. No guarantee of results
Health outcomes vary from person to person.
Any testimonials, case examples, educational material, programme descriptions, or general statements on this website are provided for informational purposes only. They do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.
Information about functional medicine, lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, laboratory testing, programmes, protocols, and health strategies may support health-related goals, but outcomes depend on many individual factors, including medical history, current health status, medications, consistency, lifestyle, environment, genetics, and other circumstances.
6. Eligibility and minors
By using this website, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
If you are under the age of 18 or considered a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use this website only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Services for children or minors must be requested and managed by a parent or legal guardian, or with appropriate parental or guardian involvement.
7. Use of the website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the rights of others or the proper functioning of the website.
You agree not to:
- use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorised purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems, accounts, servers, or data;
- copy, scrape, harvest, or systematically collect content or data from the website without permission;
- use bots, automated scripts, crawlers, or similar tools in a way that could harm or overload the website;
- upload or transmit viruses, malware, spyware, or harmful code;
- interfere with website security or attempt to bypass access restrictions;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- use the website to send spam or unsolicited communications;
- use website content to compete with us or reproduce our materials for commercial purposes without written permission;
- misuse any contact form, booking system, payment page, or patient portal link.
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or block access to the website where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, unlawful activity, security risk, or breach of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, content made available through this website is owned by the applicable rights holder, licensed for use, or used with appropriate permission.
This may include text, articles, graphics, photographs, videos, educational materials, downloads, programme materials, branding elements, and other content.
You may view and use website content for your own personal and non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, sell, commercially exploit, substantially copy, or create derivative commercial materials from protected content without the prior written permission of the applicable rights holder, except where permitted by law.
9. Digital products, guides, programmes, and educational materials
From time to time, digital products, guides, recordings, educational materials, self-paced programmes, paid resources, or downloadable content may be offered through this website.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these materials are sold by Panagiotis Tsintavis through his own business activity and are provided for personal, educational use only.
You may not:
- share paid materials publicly or with others;
- resell or redistribute digital products;
- upload materials to public platforms;
- copy programme content into your own commercial products or services;
- reproduce, adapt, or create derivative works based on the materials without written permission.
Access to digital products or programmes may be limited to the time period stated at the time of purchase.
Digital products or programme materials may be updated, modified, removed, or discontinued where reasonably necessary, subject to any rights already acquired by purchasers under applicable law.
10. Affiliate and referral relationships
Certain links, recommendations, products, programmes, platforms, dispensaries or other third-party services presented on this website may be connected to affiliate, referral or other commercial arrangements entered into by Panagiotis Tsintavis through his independent business activity.
Where such an arrangement applies, Panagiotis Tsintavis may receive a commission, referral fee, discount, credit or other benefit if you purchase or use a product or service through the relevant link or referral, generally at no additional cost to you.
These affiliate and referral relationships do not form part of Dr. Varvara Zisimidou’s independent medical practice, and she does not receive affiliate commissions through the arrangements disclosed on this website.
Where an affiliate or referral relationship exists, we aim to disclose it clearly and reasonably close to the relevant recommendation or link.
The existence of an affiliate relationship does not require you to purchase through the relevant link. You remain free to obtain the same or a similar product or service from another provider where available.
11. Bookings, consultations, and professional services
The website may include booking links, enquiry forms, service descriptions, programme pages, or links to third-party platforms such as Practice Better.
Submitting a form or requesting an appointment does not guarantee acceptance for a particular professional service.
Where a professional consultation or healthcare service is requested, the relevant practitioner independently determines whether that service falls within their professional scope and is appropriate for them to provide.
A consultation booked with Panagiotis Tsintavis is provided through his independent dietetic practice.
A consultation booked with Dr. Varvara Zisimidou is provided through her independent medical practice.
Some services may require:
- completion of intake forms;
- acceptance of separate terms;
- informed consent;
- use of Practice Better or another approved platform;
- payment in advance;
- relevant health information;
- laboratory data or other supporting information, where appropriate.
If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a specific service agreement, consent form, programme agreement, or patient portal agreement, the more specific document will apply to that service.
12. Payments, prices, and invoices
Prices may be displayed on the website, booking pages, payment links, or other applicable purchase or booking interfaces.
For professional healthcare services, payment is made for the service of the practitioner with whom the relevant consultation or service is booked, and the corresponding lawful invoice or receipt is issued independently by that practitioner.
Digital products, educational programmes, guides, and other commercial products sold by Panagiotis Tsintavis are invoiced through his own business activity unless expressly stated otherwise.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.
Invoices and receipts are issued in accordance with applicable Greek tax and accounting requirements.
13. Cancellations, refunds, and right of withdrawal
Cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and withdrawal rules may vary depending on the type of consultation, professional service, programme, or digital product purchased.
Specific cancellation or refund terms may be provided:
- at the time of booking;
- at checkout;
- on a payment page;
- in a programme agreement;
- in a consultation agreement;
- or in direct written communication.
Professional healthcare consultations may be subject to separate cancellation and rescheduling terms communicated at the time of booking.
For digital products, downloadable materials, recordings, and self-paced programmes, consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal under applicable consumer law.
Where immediate access to digital content is requested before the expiry of the statutory withdrawal period, the consumer may be asked to provide prior express consent to immediate access and to acknowledge that, where applicable, the statutory right of withdrawal may be lost once performance begins in accordance with applicable law.
Any loss of the right of withdrawal applies only where the legal requirements for such loss have been satisfied.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
14. Third-party platforms and tools
The website and the services presented through it may link to or use third-party platforms, tools, or services.
These may include, for example:
- Practice Better;
- Stripe;
- CookieYes;
- Canva or embedded media/design tools;
- booking or scheduling tools;
- video-call platforms;
- social media platforms;
- email and newsletter providers;
- analytics and advertising tools;
- external educational resources.
We are not responsible for the availability, content, terms, privacy practices, or security of third-party websites or platforms.
When you use third-party platforms, their own terms and privacy policies may apply. You should review them before using those services.
15. Practice Better and patient portal use
Either practitioner may use Practice Better or another approved practice-management platform in connection with their own professional services, including appointments, forms, communications, documents, recommendations, and relevant health-related information.
Use of a shared platform does not change the independent professional status of the two practices or make either practitioner responsible for professional services provided by the other.
Access to Practice Better may require you to accept the platform’s own terms, privacy information, and consent requirements.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for ensuring that the information you provide through the portal is accurate and up to date.
Patient-specific or health-related communication should take place through the communication channels designated for the relevant professional service.
16. Privacy and cookies
Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, stored, and protected and, where relevant, identifies the appropriate data controller for the relevant processing activity.
Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used, including analytics and advertising tools.
By using the website, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these policies.
You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie banner or cookie settings tool available on the website.
17. User submissions, enquiries, and feedback
If you submit questions, comments, feedback, reviews, testimonials, or other content through the website, email, forms, social media, or other communication channels, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
General feedback, suggestions, or non-confidential comments may be used to improve the website, educational materials, products, or services.
Identifying testimonials, reviews, photos, names, initials, health stories, or other identifiable patient information will not be published without appropriate consent.
Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, or urgent medical information through general website contact forms unless specifically requested. For patient-specific communication, use the approved communication channel provided for the relevant service.
18. Testimonials and reviews
Testimonials, reviews, or case examples displayed on the website or in related materials are based on individual experiences.
They do not guarantee results and should not be interpreted as a promise that another person will experience the same or similar outcome.
Where testimonials contain identifying information, appropriate consent will be sought before publication.
If you have provided a testimonial and wish to request its removal or amendment, you may contact info@tsintavismed.com.
19. Website availability and changes
We aim to keep the website available and functioning properly but do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
The website, content, descriptions, prices, availability, educational materials, or digital products may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued where reasonably necessary.
Errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information may be corrected without prior notice.
20. Accuracy of information
Reasonable efforts are made to keep website information accurate and up to date.
However, health information, service descriptions, prices, availability, and educational content may change over time.
No guarantee is made that all website content will always be complete, current, or free from errors.
If you notice an error, you may contact info@tsintavismed.com.
21. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website operator and the individual practitioners are not liable for loss or damage arising solely from:
- use of, or inability to use, the website;
- reliance on general educational content;
- interruptions, delays, or technical problems;
- viruses, malware, or harmful code transmitted by third parties;
- third-party websites, tools, platforms, or services;
- unauthorised access to or misuse of information where reasonable protective measures have been taken;
- decisions made solely on the basis of general website information without appropriate individual professional advice where such advice is required.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility arising from professional healthcare services actually provided by either practitioner, or any liability, professional duty, consumer right, or other responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
22. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for loss, damage, claim, or expense arising from your misuse of the website, breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, infringement of third-party rights, or submission of inaccurate or unauthorised information.
23. Electronic communications
By contacting us through the website, email, forms, booking systems, or digital platforms, you agree that communications relating to the website, bookings, purchases, or services may be provided electronically.
Electronic communications may include:
- email replies;
- appointment confirmations;
- payment confirmations;
- portal invitations;
- policy updates;
- service-related notices;
- digital documents;
- consent forms;
- programme information.
You are responsible for ensuring that your contact information is accurate and that you can receive communications sent to you.
24. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece.
If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection rights available under the laws applicable to you.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
25. Dispute resolution
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first at info@tsintavismed.com so that an attempt can be made to resolve the matter informally.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, any applicable jurisdiction rules will be determined in accordance with Greek and European Union law, including any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply.
Where applicable, consumers may also have access to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms under Greek or European Union consumer-protection rules.
26. Force majeure
The website operator and the relevant service provider are not responsible for delays, failures, interruptions, or inability to perform obligations caused by events outside their reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Such events may include, for example:
- technical failures;
- internet or hosting outages;
- cyberattacks;
- natural disasters;
- strikes;
- government restrictions;
- illness or medical emergency;
- power failures;
- war, civil unrest, or other events beyond reasonable control.
27. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining parts will continue in full force and effect.
28. No waiver
If a right or provision of these Terms is not immediately enforced, this does not mean that the right or provision has been waived.
29. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
When they are updated, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.
Updated Terms apply from the date they are published, subject to any mandatory rights or contractual protections that may apply to an existing purchase or professional service.
You are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.
